About Conference

The Global Conference on Renewable Energy (GCREN) will take place in the vibrant city of Dubai, UAE, from September 16–18, 2026. Building on the success of its previous editions, GCREN has established itself as a leading international platform for researchers, policymakers, industry experts, and innovators in the field of sustainable energy. The 2026 edition will focus on next-generation renewable technologies, energy transition strategies, and scalable innovations for a net-zero future. The theme of the conference is ‘Renewables Reimagined: Scaling Solutions for a Changing World.’

GCREN will feature a series of high-impact sessions including solar and wind innovations, green hydrogen technologies, energy storage and battery breakthroughs, smart grid infrastructure, carbon capture and storage, sustainable fuels, and AI-driven energy systems. The conference will also explore renewable integration in urban infrastructure, offshore renewable developments, policy frameworks, and climate resilience through clean energy.

GCREN offers a unique blend of technical sessions, plenary and keynote talks, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, bringing together thought leaders from academia, industry, government, and startups. The conference is an ideal platform to showcase research, discover funding opportunities, gain insights from global experts, and build meaningful collaborations that accelerate the transition toward clean energy.

In the previous edition, participants praised the conference for its interdisciplinary approach, inclusive discussions, and actionable outcomes. Many reported successful research partnerships, enhanced visibility for their work, and valuable exposure to the latest technologies and case studies from around the world.

Dubai, the host city, is a fitting venue for GCREN in 2026. As a global hub of innovation and sustainability, Dubai has made substantial investments in renewable energy projects such as the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park and is actively leading the region's green transition. With world-class infrastructure, excellent connectivity, and cultural richness, Dubai offers an inspiring and dynamic backdrop for international collaboration.

Prospective participants are encouraged to submit their abstracts early, as slots are very limited. Discounted early-bird registration and exclusive hotel packages near the venue will be available for a limited time. Join us at GCREN in September 2026 to shape the future of renewable energy and be part of a global movement towards a sustainable planet.
